TRANS* is a digital anthology aiming to spotlight original transgender characters and their unique visual aesthetics. The project involved an application process and features a total of 15 artists. Creators showcase their art on single pages or multiple spreads with accompanying prose that expands on their piece or character within the anthology.

This project was experimental and aimed to figure out whether people are interested in a digital trans-centric oc anthology, as well as determine if hosting necessary functionalities myself is viable.
Profits from digital sales went go to cover operational costs that I initially paid for. These are the costs of the domain itself, as well as any web- and file-hosting that’s needed to keep the site operational for two years. These costs totaled 48€. Profits will be paid out or donated to PULS Düsseldorf, an LGBTQ+ youth center (artists choice).
Contributors received a free digital copy of the anthology.
